Hi! We are Bob and Becky. We have a fun, loving, and stable relationship. We met while working together at a local restaurant. We became close friends which led to an engagement and our wedding on August 14, 2004. Three years later we were blessed with our daughter, Morgan. We have been able to provide the life we promised her Birthmother we would give if she chose us to be her parents. We want to expand our family and make those same promises to you.

We cherish every moment with our daughter, but we always make time for each other. Some of our favorite things to do together include going in our hot tub, dining out, and enjoying nature. One of the best times we have had was when we went on a four hour ATV tour of the Wikwemikong wilderness area. Other memories we have created together include hiking up the Cup and Saucer Trail on Manitoulin Island and swimming with dolphins in Mexico.

About Bob (Written by Becky)

Bob is the funniest person I have ever met. Anyone who has met Bob would agree that he is easy to get along with, always has a smile on his face, and is dedicated to his career and his family. Bob is a manager in a restaurant. His employees consider him to be fair, hard-working, and fun to work for. Since Bob's work schedule is flexible, he is usually home with Morgan about twenty hours/week while I am working. He takes Morgan to swim lessons every Monday and picks her up from preschool two days a week. In his free time Bob enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking, reading the newspaper, and working out. His favorite place to vacation is at a Golf Resort in Northern Michigan, his favorite T.V. show is Law and Order, and his favoite song is Alright by Darius Rucker. He is Ralph Lauren's number one customer!

About Becky (Written by Bob)

Becky is a loving wife and mother. She enjoys doing just about anything that involves her family. Becky has been a fourth grade teacher for eight years and teaches science and reading. Her students describe her as devoted to student achievement, a fun and caring teacher, and always prepared for lessons. Education is important to us and Becky spends a lot of time reading and writing with Morgan. Becky's career allows for her to be a stay-at-home mom in the summer and over holiday breaks. In Becky's spare time she can be found watching General Hospital, getting a pedicure with her best friend, eating a blizzard from Dairy Queen, and playing euchre. Becky's favorite season is spring, she likes her coffee with lots of hazelnut cream, and she wakes up really early every day!

When I (Becky) was sixteen, I found out that I would be unable to carry a child. I was devistated because being a mother one day was very important to me. I always knew that through adoption, that dream would one day come true. Because our relationship started off as friends, Bob was aware of my dreams to adopt and when we got married, we began the process. Morgan is almost four years old and we feel blessed for each day we have had with her. We have realized that our family would be complete if we could add another child. Morgan LOVES babies and has been asking for a baby brother or sister. We have the financial and emotional means to provide a loving, stable home for Morgan and her baby brother or sister. Growing up very close to our siblings, it is important to us that Morgan has the opportunity to share her love and toys with her sibling, and be able to have the sibling bond we both have.

We could ramble about all the things we have done as a family and all the places we have been! We were both raised and are raising Morgan to be Catholic. She was baptized at four months old and is attending a Catholic Preschool. We have been to Frankenmuth four times since Morgan was born. Becky's Grandparents own a cottage in Canada. We have been there every summer and it is one of Morgan's favorite spots. Morgan has been to Disney World two times and the plan is that she (and her sibling) goes once a year! Every Saturday we have family day and love going to carnivals, festivals, museums, and parades. We are excited to create more memories and enjoy these places as a family of four.

Morgan has a huge extended family which includes four grandparents and two great-grandparents. We are able to give her everything she could dream of except a sibling. We want to watch our children play catch, hide-and-seek, become aunts/uncles, and have neices/nephews. You can help us fulfill this dream.

In Feburary 2010, our family was introduced to a family that started an adoption playgroup. We went to a family outing and instantly clicked with the families in the group. We attended most monthly outings and then in December, Becky was asked to become an administrator of the group and help plan the outings. The group also added a monthly Mommy's Night where only the mommies get together for dinner at a local restaurant. This group has become one of the main priorities of our family. We feel this group offers us support as parents and will offer our children lifetime friends who all came together because of adoption. The group consists of over thirty families and continues to grow.
